Description

SealSkin is a flexible water-based acrylic sealant to be applied inside inflatables.

Great for repairing older inflatables that are suffering from porosity and minor leaks.

SealSkin is introduced into the deflated inflatable through the inflation/deflation valve and then the inflatables is re-inflated. The item is then tumbled to circulate the sealant which adheres and cures to form an impermeable membrane.

  • Flexible water based acrylic sealant
  • Can be used on various fabrics including PVC, polyurathane and hypalon.
  • 500ml applicator bottle
  • Forms an impermeable membrane
  • Enough for a 2.4m-2.7m (8-9ft) inflatable boat or at a rate of 90ml-100ml per linear metre of tube of approximately 400mm diameter.
  • Can be used on inflatable hot tubs, spas, pools, canoes and kayaks
  • Can be used once more major/ visible punctures or tears are repaired with a suitable fabric patch and glue.
Use with caution on inflatable paddle boards and SUPs - the sealant needs to be fully dry before the board is deflated to avoid the 'drop stitch' sticking together which could cause the board to be distorted when inflated.
